Home Support Workers – Province-Wide
Our Home Support Workers help individuals remain in the familiar environment of their own home by providing health services or assistance with activities of daily living.
You will have experience working with seniors and or physically disabled individuals, as well as experience in client supervision, meal preparation and housekeeping.
Our Employees have exceptional relationship skills and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of those seniors we serve.
This position is subject to the following documentation: Record of Conduct and First Aid certificate.
Supervised Access Worker
Supervised access is a service that provides a safe environment for children/youth to have contact with their family with whom they do not live due to safety and wellbeing concerns.
- To provide a safe and controlled environment where the child/youth can have contact with family.
- To provide constant and objective supervision throughout the visit.
- Documentation of observations during visit and good report writing skills
Developmental Support Workers – St. John’s and Corner Brook
Reporting to the Home Manager, the Developmental Support Worker (DSW) assists residents to achieve their desired quality of life and ensure optimal health and safety, provide prescribed support and supervision, assist residents to be as independent as possible, advocate on the resident’s behalf and to maintain their homes so they are clean, safe, and hazard free.
