This week at CareGivers, we celebrated some very special people in our CareGivers family. We presented CareGiver of the Year Awards to Home Support Workers in our Corner Brook, Placentia, Central and St. John’s offices.
This is a special achievement in recognition of long term excellence, exceeding client quality care, outstanding dedication, & extraordinary performance. Congratulations to all our recipients!

Grand Falls-Windsor CareGiver of the Year
Janice Snow started with Caregivers in the Grand Falls-Windsor region just a few months after we first opened our doors there over 3 years ago. She enjoys her job and takes pride in caring for her clients. She always strives to provide quality care for all the clients she supports. We greatly appreciate her hard work and dedication to our GFW team! Congratulations Janice!
St. John’s CareGiver of the Year
Georgina has been with CareGivers for over 14 years, providing home support care that embodies our core values. She is reliable, dutiful, dedicated, committed, and compassionate. In particular, over the course of 3 years Georgina has been instrumental in changing the quality of life for her client and their family she supports.
In recognition of Georgina, we all gathered here at the office to present her with her certificate, card, cake, gift certificate, and joyful speeches as to why we honor, respect, and admire her. The clients wanted to attend and take a very special photo with her, and in their words, “We have had home support workers before, but then, there is Georgina, a cut above the rest.” Georgina serves as a motivation to us all, and on behalf of all of us at Caregivers- thank you. Congratulations Georgina!
