Senior’s Mug Up in Placentia

Seniors Mug Up 012

Cherie and Shirley in our Placentia office surprised some seniors this week with some sweet treats and information on the Vial of Life Program at the Placentia Public Library during their Memory Mug up. The informal gathering is part of the Collective Memories Project for seniors to share their precious stories and memories.  What a great initiative to record our heritage as told by our wonderful seniors!  Emily Hickey of the library read a story about the devil’s foot of Red Island while they were there.  Cherie and Shirley were touched by all the wonderful stories of “days gone by” that were told by the participants.

Congratulations Georgina!

CareGivers Supports Seniors Darts in Placentia

Written by Corinne Massey on . Posted in News

Cherie and Shirley from our Placentia location visited the Seniors Dart League on Thursday, March 2nd at the Star of the Sea Hall in Placentia.  They surprised the seniors that attend darts on a weekly basis by providing them with a luncheon and stayed for the afternoon to answer questions on Accredited Home Care and the Vial of Life that the residents had. Shirley got in on the fun with the Dart League and played some darts with the group! The seniors were delighted that they came out to spend the afternoon with them and as an additional surprise, Cherie and Shirley held a draw for the seniors for a $100 Sobeys gift certificate.
